I got a Retul fitting at Speed Studio last year and it made the biggest difference in my riding! Prior to my fitting , I was having all kinds of aliments - knee problems and achilles tendentious. A few weeks later, I rode across Pennsylvania (about 470 miles) pain free and with a smile on my face, because I just felt great riding. I live in Pennsylvania, so Speed Studio is not exactly around the corner (about two hours away), but its truly worth the trip for their expertise and great service.

I initially bought my bike through Bike Doctor ... And once I got the bike, I was even more impressed with the time they spent [in speed studio] making sure everything was correct. They really care that their riders have the best fit [on] their bike[s]. For me, investing this much time and money into a sport also means working with a shop that makes sure my fit puts me at the top of my game.

I have been riding for a little over a decade and I figured I knew what I needed to "dial myself in" on the bike and thought I had found the best position for both speed and comfort. Having just purchased a new bicycle I decided to visit Steve at the Speed Studio for a fit using the Retul system. ... What amazed me was that I had been feeling pain in my back just above my left hip but didn't mention this to Steve. As he watched the telemetry he looked at me and asked "are you having any pain on your left side?" the computer showed me sitting slightly askew on my saddle (placing one leg a bit ahead of the other). When finished, Steve showed me how my efficiency and power would be improved with some subtle changes to my position. I've logged over 3500 miles in my new position and have ridden several 200k rides and centuries with better times and more comfort on the bike than ever before. Regardless of the price range of your bike, if you ride a lot of miles or want to be faster, a fit at the Speed Studio is worth more than ... Any other option you can buy.
